In 1965 brothers Michael & Frank Steed took the first step to building the UK’s finest upholstery business. Both brothers had learned their trade diligently, serving apprenticeships at England’s centre of upholstery excellence in Long Eaton. Frank and Michael saw an opportunity to create a unique business crafting the very finest quality sofas, settees and upholstered furniture in the country. Steed upholstery was born.
